Fabrication is the foundation of everything we do.

At Kiss MotorWorks, fabrication and welding are not add-on services — they are core capabilities that allow us to build, repair, and modify BMWs properly, without compromise or shortcuts.

We carry out in-house fabrication for restorations, engine conversions, chassis reinforcement, suspension upgrades, motorsport builds, and bespoke one-off solutions. This allows us to design and execute components that fit correctly, function as intended, and integrate cleanly with the rest of the vehicle.

Our work includes structural and non-structural fabrication using steel, stainless steel, and aluminium, with TIG and MIG welding carried out to a standard suitable for road, track, and competition use.

Fabrication services include:

• Custom engine and gearbox mounts

• Subframe and chassis reinforcement (including known BMW weak points)

• Structural rust repair and metal replacement

• Sill, arch, floor, and chassis repairs

• Suspension arms, brackets, and mounting solutions

• Exhaust fabrication and modifications

• Roll cages and motorsport preparation

• Rust repair involving structural metal replacement

• Bespoke brackets, mounts, and one-off components

All fabrication work is planned, measured, and executed with longevity and serviceability in mind — not speed or appearance alone.

Why fabrication matters

Many modern and classic BMW projects cannot be completed correctly using off-the-shelf parts. Engine swaps, restorations, and performance builds often require custom solutions to ensure correct alignment, strength, clearance, and reliability.

By fabricating in-house, we retain full control over quality, fitment, and outcome — and we are able to solve problems that other workshops simply avoid.

How we work

Fabrication and welding work is carried out as part of complete vehicle builds or as standalone projects where appropriate. Every job is assessed individually, documented where required, and executed to a standard we are prepared to stand behind.

If a component or repair cannot be done correctly, we will say so — and we will not carry out work that compromises safety or long-term reliability.

Important note

Fabrication is skilled, time-intensive work. We do not offer quick fixes, cosmetic welding, or budget solutions. If you are looking for the cheapest option, this service is not suitable.
